This design was inspired during an in depth study of Psalm 17, a prayer of David. In this story David was being pounded with foul words from his enemies and was crying out to the Lord for protection and shelter, asking God to hide him under the shadow of His wing and listen to David as he has kept the Lord’s commands and has not stumbled. The study really began when I got to verse 14 which reads, "By your hand save me from such people, Lord, from those of this world whose reward is in this life…” When you live for the world and for the approval of those who don’t know Christ, surely your reward will be found in this life. However, when you follow Jesus and you have that intimate relationship with Him, your reward is in Heaven. This world is not your home, you have so much more to long for in Heaven with Jesus Christ. Keep your eyes on things above.
